Now I do have to note that I do not recommend messing up with these because there is a high chance that they will break and/or become corrupted. I only intend to do this just for the sake of this in-depth investigation on what lies in these files. I do have a backup if I suddenly broke one, and I encourage you to do the same, especially if you have a collection of these games. However, for the sake of not getting sued, I highly encourage you to prevent it from distributing your backups online and make it accessible to others. You can, however, transfer it to your cloud server (eg. Google Drive, OneDrive, etc.) just in case your physical storages gets corrupted/damaged.Īnyways, lets first start off with inspecting the folders. The "cursor" folder contains, you guessed it-cursors that are available if you're not fond of the large, animated cursor that is shown by default. (And did I mention that in any DP game-or it's just my theory anyway, judging from what I have experienced in DP5 on a 16:9 display-they all support all kinds of resolutions?) Also, they are scaled in respect to the size of your mouse in any resolution. The "image" folder contains image assets (surprise), but the real deal is that they AREN'T natively on the "Data" file which we will talk about shortly.
